January 31st 2018, we ventured to Newport Gwent to provide PA and lights for Lliswerry High School in Newport.  On the Wednesday (31st January) we went in to set up all the equipment needed which was a full PA with Desk (2x 1000w EV powered speakers = 2000w, X32 Compact sound desk) Extra lights to what the school already had.  8 Radio Mics (hired from another company by us).  We had 2 microphones (C1000s) in front of stage to pick up the chorus then back stage we had another 2 microphones (sm57).  We had these as they had some singers backstage when they weren’t on stage to add extra warmth.  The lights we provide was to had more atmosphere on the big numbers.

The Thursday we finished of setting up and done a quick tech run.  On the Sunday (4th February) was the dress run with the band.  Then on Monday and Tuesday there was performance for the primary schools which they class a rehearsal.  This is without the band.  Thursday and Friday evening is then the public performance with the band.

When people were arriving and leaving, also during the interval we provide background music of 50/60s music to suit the show.  This was to add a bit of atmosphere.
